Fields of Research
1. R&D and iterative development of waterborne epoxy resins & compatible curing agents for industrial coatings.
2. Research on toughening and chemical resistance enhancement of waterborne epoxy coatings.
Major Research Achievements
I have been engaged in applied and fundamental research on waterborne epoxy resins & compatible curing agents for industrial coatings. In recent years, as the principal investigator, I have successfully completed one National Natural Science Foundation for Young Scholars project, five provincial-level research projects, and eight industry-sponsored collaborative projects, with over 10 developed products now commercially available. To date, I have published more than 20 papers as the first or corresponding author and obtained 1 U.S. patent and 13 Chinese invention patents. Additionally, I have supervised 15 postgraduate students to graduation, most of whom are now employed by leading enterprises in the coatings and related industries.
